Description
Thermowells are designed to do just that, while also protecting the process being tested. Also, they are recommended for all process systems where pressure, velocity or viscous, abrasive and corrosive materials are present.
In addition, the thermometer or Temperature Sensor fits inside the solid stainless steel thermowell, which is positioned to transfer heat or cold from the medium being tested.
Also Thermowells allow thermometers to be removed for replacement or repair without affecting the media being tested.
Finally, these thermowell types are one-piece, welded constructions made of Stainless Steel 304 or 316. In addition, the male and female connections are 1/2″ NPT. In Conclusion, they are perfect for integration with thermometers.
